Viljami Sinisalo knew Celtic were potentially interested in his services before Finland's friendly with Scotland last June.
The stopper came on as a half-time substitute in the match and made a fine save to deny Tommy Conway a late winner for Steve Clarke's side.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw. It took place on June 7, with Sinisalo signing for Celtic just over a month later, on July 16.

He was recently asked whether he knew that the Parkhead side were interested in his services before he turned out for his country at Hampden: "There probably was a couple [of suggestions]," he said.
"I didn't know that it was going to happen, but there was a bit of an early shout that it possibly could.
"Whether that [save vs Scotland] got it over the line or not, I don't know.
"I knew about the interest. The fact that I played against Scotland didn't do me any harm. It picked up speed after that, and three to four weeks later, I found myself here."
The 23-year-old has deputised between the sticks for Celtic in recent weeks in Kasper Schmeichel's absence.
The veteran stopper is currently on the sidelines with a shoulder injury, but could yet return before the season's end.
Regardless, Sinisalo is relishing his current run as number one, and wants to be the long-term option between the sticks at Celtic: "That's always been the aim," he said.
"That's the whole plan of me coming here. I want to play for this football club. I want to be the number one here. That's been the aim since the first day I walked into this football club.
"I want to be the best, and hopefully my performances and the way I train every day can prove that."
