A big dance event is coming to Cardiff Castle this summer

Dance music event Defected In The Castle is coming back to Cardiff Castle this summer after a successful first event last year.

Cardiff Castle will be taken over by dance music, DJs, and partying on Saturday, July, 2 and they are promising a "mega show".

While the line-up hasn't been announced yet, it will be announced after all the tickets sell out, you can grab priority tickets and then second release tickets which go on sale from 10am on Thursday, February, 3.

The first release tickets are priced at £35 and orgainsers Shangri-La are expecting tickets to sell out quickly. The event is for people aged 18 or above and will run from 2pm to 11pm.

Shangri-La is a club event that has been running for over a decade and they first took over Cardiff Castle in August 2021.

They are not the only music event at Cardiff Castle this year with City Jam tribute festival running at the castle from Saturday, April, 30 to Sunday, May 1 as well as Diana Ross, Gerry Cinnamon and Olly Murs all also set to perform at the castle this summer.
