It does not seem like Cincinnati Bengals fans are going to let the coin flip thing go from this past season’s NFL playoffs anytime soon.
As you’ll recall, the Bengals faced a situation where a coin flip could’ve determined the destination of the Wild Card game against the Baltimore Ravens after Damar Hamlin’s scary cardiac arrest forced a Week 17 cancellation of Cincinnati’s game with the Buffalo Bills.
Cincinnati would’ve had to lose to Baltimore in Week 18 for that to happen (which they didn’t), but it still rubbed the Bengals the wrong way.
Cincy running back Joe Mixon spoke out about the coin flip scenario and mocked it in a touchdown celebration during that Week 18 game against the Ravens.
Well, during Saturday’s 2023 NFL Draft fourth round, Bengals superfan Phil Armein brought the coin flip back into conversation by doing a fake coin flip before he announced Cincinnati’s pick of Purdue wide receiver Charlie Jones.
A Cincinnati Bengals fan went with a mock coin flip before announcing the team's fourth-round pick.

While that’s certainly good television on what is a traditionally slow day of the NFL Draft cycle, are Bengals fans going to drop this anytime soon?
They beat the Ravens in consecutive weeks and made it to another AFC Championship. Maybe move onto something else to be upset about?
