For a man who does not enjoy media duties at the best of times, having to repeatedly dissect this afternoon's 3-2 defeat at Arsenal must have been incredibly draining for Jurgen Klopp.
It was a day on which the Liverpool manager's resilience was severely tested, with his side twice coming back from behind only to lose out via a controversial penalty decision. Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino cancelled out goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, but when Thiago Alcantara clipped the calf of of Gabriel Jesus, the Brazilian went to ground and contact was deemed sufficient for Michael Oliver to point to the spot.
Notwithstanding the result, seeing both Luis Diaz and Trent Alexander-Arnold forced off with injuries will only have rubbed salt in the wound for Klopp, and his admission after the final whistle that both are 'not good' hints at two more longer-term problems.
