A 'battle bar' with axe throwing, digital darts and beer pong is opening in Manchester this June

A bar offering people the chance to channel their competitive side through axe throwing, digital darts and beer pong will open its doors at Manchester's Printworks this June. Said to be the UK's first and only battle bar, Boom Battle Bar, combines food and drink with a 'entertainment battleground' full of competitive games for all ages.

The new, 10,000 sq ft venue takes over the space at the Printworks that was formerly occupied by late-night bar Lazy Lizard. The plans for a 'competitive socialising venue' we're approved last August.

As well as beer pong and darts, visitors will be able to challenge their mates at shuffleboard, American pool, arcade games, and even Singa-powered karaoke. Activities are hired out for a allotted time for someone to play alone or with a group of up to eight people.
