A bakery is searching for doughnut tasters to test out free doughnuts

If you're a fan of doughnuts, then we may have found the perfect job for you. A bakery has launched a search for people to eat their delicious doughnuts for an entire month.

Project Doughnuts want to make sure they’re offering customers the best that they can give - which is where doughnut tasters come in.

They are looking for people to provide feedback to help them stay at the top of their game in exchange for free doughnuts which will be delivered to your door once a week for an entire month.

The Derbyshire-based bakery posted an advert on its website. It reads: "We are on the lookout for DOUGHNUT TASTERS to provide comprehensive feedback to help us stay at the top with our doughnut creations.

“Successful applicants will be gifted with a box of different doughnuts once a week for an entire month (that's right, free doughnuts for an ENTIRE month) and must provide feedback based on the quality, selection, taste and toppings.

“So, who's ready to apply for the job of a lifetime?”

You can apply here where successful candidates will be in touch from the Dream Team whether or not they have made the cut.

The Project D bakery was founded by school friends Max Poynton, Jacob Watts and Matthew Bond in their hometown of Derby. It has become something of a phenomenon thanks to their loaded doughnut treats - growing to employ 75 staff and sending out orders across the UK.

Earlier this month their love-heart shaped doughnuts - which sold for £15 a pop - went viral on TikTok ahead of Valentine's Day, receiving over 6 million views on the platform.

Project D doughnuts are stocked in stores located all across the UK and even do home deliveries.

And for those who don't want to wait for the postman to get their doughnut fix, we have good news. They are bringing their pop up shop to Salford Shopping Centre this weekend - on Saturday, February 18, from 9-5.30pm and Sunday, February 19, from 9-4pm.
