The Saudi Film Festival, now in its ninth edition, will kick of on the 4th of May and runs till the 11th.
The festival is one of the most prominent annual initiatives held by the Cinema Association in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and supported by the Film Commission.
This year’s edition will feature films and script contests, as the film program will also include a broad range of local and international films.
According to Ithra official site, in addition to providing a platform for production companies for producers and filmmakers to bring their projects in the production market, the festival also translates and publishes a collection of books to continue the festival’s mission to enrich the Arabic library especially in the knowledge field of film and cinema production.
