SHOCKING footage has emerged showing an entire road flooded in Milngavie.
East Dunbartonshire Council said that an ongoing main pipe burst at the junction of Auchenhowie Road and Glasgow Road.
The utility firm has been joined by 999 services including the police and fire to deal with the ongoing incident.
It is understood that this has had a major impact on water supply in the area and Glasgow.
NOW - flooding as the result of a mains water pipe burst has closed the A807 Auchenhowie Road - from the Allander Toll Roundabout to the A81 Glasgow Road, Milngavie - and Glasgow Road - from the railway bridge to Burnhbrae Roundabout. Currently G2, G3, G4, G5, G11, G12, G13, G15, G20, G51 and Bearsden G61 are impacted by the incident.
Users took to Twitter to show the ongoing operation to deal with the burst main.

Scottish Water said: "Customers in the G2, G3, G4, G5, G11, G12, G13, G15, G20, G51 & Bearsden G61 area have reported an interruption to their water supply. "We are currently on the way to investigate the issue and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible. "While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure. You may also experience discoloured water.
