Andrew Devine's name will be added to Anfield's Hillsborough memorial on Friday.
The 97th unlawfully killed victim of the disaster, who died in July 2021, will have his name added to the memorial on January 28.
Liverpool FC confirmed today work would be undertaken to etch his name onto the memorial, adding: "The 97 will always be at the heart of Liverpool Football Club."

The club said since Mr Devine's passing, his name had been added to the memorial at the club's AXA Training Centre while the 'Anfield Forever' stones located on 97 Avenue would also be updated in the coming weeks.
Mr Devine, a life-long Liverpool FC fan, suffered serious injuries at the disaster during the 1989 FA Cup semi-final and was given just three months to live.
But he lived for another 32 years and died in July last year aged 55.
Mr Devine was posthumously awarded the Freedom of Liverpool by the city council.
His parents told BBC Breakfast: "For us it means he is remembered and that is what makes it important to us."
Liverpool FC said they have reviewed all physical and digital references to Hillsborough since Mr Devine's passing.
The club added it has renamed the former 96 Avenue to 97 Avenue at Anfield, with new signage installed at the stadium, while updates to the website has been finalised with the 97 emblem across all digital channels.
Temporary hoarding will be erected around the memorial between 8am and 3pm while the work is completed.
There will be no access to the memorial during these hours - and any existing tributes will be removed and stored carefully during the works.
In a public statement, Liverpool FC said: "Andrew, who was a lifelong supporter of the club, sadly passed away in July 2021 at the age of 55 as a result of the life-changing injuries he sustained at Hillsborough.
"He became the 97th supporter to lose their life as a result of the disaster.
"The 97 will always be at the heart of Liverpool Football Club."
