Adin Hill has been a huge part of the Vegas Golden Knight’s run to the Stanley Cup Final, and it was one save in Game 1 of the title series against the Florida Panthers that may be the one everyone remembers if the goaltender’s team hoists the Cup later this month.
On a Tic-Tac-Toe play in which the puck came on to the stick of Panthers center Nick Cousins, the net was wide open.
Except for Hill’s outstretched stick. The puck found the taped blade for the save of the game — of the series? — on Saturday night, leaving everyone in awe (and remembering Braden Holtby’s save against … the Golden Knights!).
