9 LinkedIn Newsletters Every Professional Needs To Read

While LinkedIn is ideal for forging new connections, it’s also an excellent platform for learning and sharing ideas. LinkedIn newsletters are one way you can learn from the brightest minds in business.

After developing my own newsletter, Mastering Time Management and Productivity, I started checking out others on the platform. With a little hunting, I found nine that are valuable, engaging reads for everybody in business:

1. Bob Glazer: #Elevate

In one of the most popular newsletters on LinkedIn, Glazer uses #Elevate to share weekly messages written to inspire. The lessons he shares focus on capacity building, culture and leadership. Glazer’s success as an entrepreneur, author and speaker shines through in his style and stories.

2. Adam Grant: The WorkLife Podcast Club

Adam Grant is an organizational psychologist whose mission is to make work more enjoyable. His WorkLife podcast is one of the most popular business podcasts available, and he offers it in written format in this LinkedIn newsletter. He likens it to “a book club, only for podcasts.” Topics like procrastination and stress management are favorites of Grant’s.

3. Dorie Clark: Dorie Clark Newsletter

Recognized as one of the top business thinkers in the world, Clark uses her weekly newsletter to share tips and ideas on how to succeed not just in business, but also to live a vibrant, meaningful life. She teaches executive education at Duke University and Columbia University, two of the most prestigious schools in the nation.

4. Gary Vaynerchuk: LinkedIn 5

Gary Vaynerchuk is the poster child for entrepreneurship. His drive and ambition are unmatched, and they’ve led him to an illustrious career and magnificent personal brand. His LinkedIn newsletter, as well as his social media, is full of hot takes on “the next big thing” in business. Vaynerchuk loves to give the latest updates on companies like Hershey’s, AT&T, Supreme and Levi’s.

5. Arianna Huffington: My Weekly Thoughts

The founder and CEO of the Huffington Post, as well as Thrive Global, is a household name for a reason. As a thought leader, best-selling author and culture guru, her insights are valued by all who read them. In her newsletter, she shares her thoughts on the week’s top news stories and on how we can each thrive in our careers.

6. Dave Kerpen: Likeable Leadership

So much of business is learning how to be a great leader. The best entrepreneurs work hard not just to grow their businesses, but to improve themselves as individuals and to garner respect in their respective fields. That is what Dave Kerpen hopes to capture with this newsletter, in which he shares insights on leadership, entrepreneurship and marketing.

7. Victoria Taylor: Top Picks

How about a newsletter about newsletters? If you only have time to read one newsletter each week, Taylor’s Top Picks is a great choice. In it, you’ll find insights that span marketing, work-life balance, HR, books, pop culture, artificial intelligence, self-driving cars and more. Whatever your interests, you’re sure to see them crop up every few weeks in Taylor’s newsletter.

8. Joseph Milord: The Hustle

Milord is an editor for LinkedIn News, but his newsletter takes a different approach. Unlike many of the newsletters on this list, he shares messages specifically for frontline workers and the topics that matter most to them. Particularly as workers navigate Covid-19, Milord’s newsletter provides bite-sized insights into personal development, stress management, workplace safety and more. Who says newsletters are only for executives?

9. Rachel Botsman: Rethink With Rachel

Business is full of subjects you wish you’d paid more attention to in school. The good news is, this biweekly newsletter takes a complex idea and breaks it down into something simple. Best of all, Botsman’s newsletter is full of suggestions about how to put theories she covers into practice. It’s a wonderful accompaniment to a morning cup of coffee.

LinkedIn’s most popular newsletters make professional development easy and enjoyable. If you want to take your career to the next level, simply spend a few minutes reading content from your favorite business authors. So go ahead: Get scrolling, get learning and get inspired.
