Bryce Harper will forever be a hero in Philadelphia after what he did in Sunday’s Game 5 of the NLCS – he blasted a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead that they’d hold on to at home.
Next up for Philadelphia, who beat the Padres in the NLCS 4-1, is the World Series, which is just wild considering the late-season push this team has been on.
Harper’s two-run blast sent the home crowd into a frenzy and provided a scene that gave me goosebumps and I didn’t even really care who won the game – it was just so darn cool.
Let’s take a look at some photos of the home run and the celebration that followed.
