85% of parents set to shop around to find bargains ahead of schools returning

Almost nine out of every ten Irish parents will spend more time bargain hunting for deals this year ahead of their kids going back to school.

More than half are budgeting to spend at least €500 on items for their kids going back to school or college, while two thirds are worried about having the right amount set aside for things their children may need throughout the academic year.

It's another factor for people who are already struggling to keep up with the cost of living crisis.

The retailer has just launched their Mega Laptop Sale in store and online. They have laptops from the big brands like HP, Dell and Lenovo for just €199.

Customers who purchase a participating laptop at €299 or over, will also receive a One4all gift card worth up to €150.

Currys also has a ‘price promise’ guarantee, which means they will match the cost of products it finds stocked cheaper at other major retailers.
