He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Norma, son Jonathan and daughter Diane. He was born in Everton, Liverpool and then lived in Prenton on the Wirral for 60 years. John lectured at Liverpool Polytechnic in the business School and was financial director at Abakhan Fabrics in Flint, North Wales. John loved cycling and was a member of the East Liverpool Wheelers, New Brighton Cycling Club and President of the West Cheshire Cycling Association. His other great hobby was singing, and he was a member of Birkenhead Choral Society, Wirral Community Choir, and the Capriccio choir. Very sad to announce the death of Valerie Tittershill, or "Mrs T" as she was better known to the thousands of children she taught during her sixty years plus at Fazakerley Primary School. So pleased she managed to fulfil her wish of joining her final Christmas celebrations with the school last week.
