The Eagles are in Indianapolis for the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine and before the players take the field for workouts, coaches and GM held their annual press conference.
Head coach Nick Sirianni addressed the media after GM Howie Roseman and gave some insight into the hiring of Sean Desai and the promotion of Brian Johnson to offensive coordinator.

NIck Sirianni on OC Candidates
Sirianni had one outside candidate interview for the job when he met with Iowa State play caller Nate Scheelhaase.

During his time in Ames, he’s coached 2022 Biletnikoff Award finalist Xavier Hutchinson, a two-time consensus All-American running back Breece Hall, All-American running back David Montgomery, and All-Big 12 wide receiver Deshaunte Jones.
He was named to 247Sports’ “30Under30” list as one of the top rising stars in the profession in 2019.
Eaglles will play a similar style of defense
Desai may not play his defense as passively as Jonathan Gannon did, but he’ll replicate a similar approach in the scheme.
