7 Reasons To Book Your Next Golf Day At The Grove

A green at The Grove.

The Grove, home to one of Golf Monthy's UK and Ireland Top 100 Courses, is the perfect spot for your next golf day.

The Hertfordshire course, situated close to London, has a championship course that was home to one of Tiger Woods' memorable wins.

As well as a stunning golf course, the off-course facilities are world class with its state-of-the-art driving range and short game areas, its friendly staff and great food and beverage offerings - all in a buzzy and vibrant atmosphere.

Here's 7 reasons why you should look no further than The Grove when booking your next golf day:

Value

For a limited time only, when you book a golf day at The Grove between 1 November 2024 - 31 March 2025, one in every 16 will play for free!

The Grove has hosted the world's best players on numerous occasions, most notably in 2006 when Tiger Woods famously prevailed at the WGC-American Express Championship - one of his two career victories in England.

Woods eagled the long, uphill par 5 9th hole three of the four days, and you'll see a sign commemorating it when you play the course - it's a tremendous feat and still remarkable to think about it to this day.

The Grove also hosted the 2016 British Masters, which was won by Sweden's Alex Noren, so you really can follow in the footsteps of game's best.

The championship layout was designed by the renowned architect Kyle Phillips and is always in supreme condition. It is a parkland-style course with undulating green complexes, challenging bunkers and water in play on numerous holes. There are four teeing positions on each hole to cater for a wide range of golfers.

Location

The resort is very easy to get to for you and your guests, situated just 18 miles from central London and near to the M25, M1 and A41. You would hardly know it, though, thanks to its beautiful Hertfordshire countryside location.

It's a stunning woodland setting with idyllic water to navigate throughout the layout.

State-of-the-art facilities

With a world class course comes state-of-the-art facilities, which include brand new buggies that feature their own Bluetooth speakers for you to play your favourite songs as you go round.

The driving range also features Trackman technology for you and your fellow players to dial in your swing before you go out, where you'll get your own 'pyramid' of golf balls just like the pros.

There's also newly refurbished locker rooms and a private courtyard to enjoy drinks and post-game formalities.

World-class service

As well as top class facilities, you'll also receive excellent service at The Grove. You'll get your very own tournament co-ordinator and bespoke set up, plus refreshments out on the course and optional group tuition. Nothing is too much for the staff who are there to make you and your guests' days special.

Special touches

Personalised lockers, branded merchandise and even bespoke golf balls are available for your golf day to really go above and beyond.

Access to the whole resort

Make a night of it and stay over to enjoy the facilities. The Grove has an award-winning spa, an outdoor pool and beach area, five restaurants including two summer pop-ups and a plethora of activities to enjoy at the resort.

There's a reason why it's considered as one of the best places for a golf break in the entire UK.
