It's no secret that house prices are souring and getting on the property ladder for the first time is harder than ever.
The average house price now stands at £260,441, according to the latest data from lender Nationwide. This means the majority of people looking to purchase their first home would need to have saved more than £13,000 for for a small five per cent deposit.
A 10 percent deposit would require a whopping £26,000. While most house prices are over £250,000, there are some properties in Leeds on the market for a lot less. We have done the hard work for all those first time buyers on the hunt for a home.
