On their website, the company states: “Serving the world’s first speciality grade robusta beans on the market. We are innovators in the coffee industry.
“With coffee shops and cocktails across the UK, France and the Philippines come soak up the vibe and enjoy a perfect cup.” The new Leeds branch will be based in the former Caffe Nero site.
NQ64
A retro arcade bar serving all your old favourites and themed cocktails is planning to launch in Leeds.
NQ64 has enjoyed great success since launching in Manchester back in 2019. It specialises in providing punters with an opportunity to play the arcade video games from their childhoods.
They also serve a host of cocktails themed around video game legends. They also have a host of Craft beers behind the bar.
Andy Hagarth and Matt Robson launched NQ64 with them subsequently opening branches in London, Liverpool and Birmingham among other locations.
BigHospitality has reported the pair’s plans to extend to a number of cities including Leeds. “We have a great team that enabled us to open the first nine NQ64s in a relatively short space of time,” explained Hagarth.
“We are really excited about the next phase of growth. With the backing of Imbiba and, our new partnership with ThinCats, we are looking forward to bringing our neon splattered drinking dens to a host of new guests.”
Electric Shuffle
A new bar is opening in Leeds where you can play electric shuffle board with friends. Flight Club - a popular electric darts venue with venues across the country - is welcoming its sister brand to Leeds very soon. Electric Shuffle will be opening in October in the Headrow.
The bar has ‘reimagined’ the traditional game of shuffleboard with four immersive games where you can battle against a group of friends. What's more, players can enjoy a crisp pint or signature cocktail while their battle for the shuffleboard crown.
The Leeds branch, opening on October 28, will be the very first branch outside of London. Electric Shuffle has branches in Canary Wharf and London Bridge.
Delirium and Revelry
A new opening which you don’t have to wait to visit is Delirium and Revelry. Based at the Grand Arcade, based next door to Brotherhood, the new venue aims to specialise in serving cocktails and playing eclectic music in a setting with vintage exteriors.
Delirium and Revelry comes from Lydia Phillips and Andy Hedley with the pair having 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The bar is located in the space previously occupied by Hardy's.
It has adopted a jungle theme which includes animal light fittings with Edison bulbs and suede sitting booths. There’s also a private VIP room on the first floor which can accommodate up to 10 guests with the new opening offering an extensive range of cocktails. The venue will be open until late on weekends and hopes to add to the city centre party scene.
Salvatore’s Bar and Street Kitchen
Here’s another newly-opened venue you can visit. Salvatore’s Bar & Street Kitchen opened on Otley Road, in Headingley, opened in August, and is run by Salvatore Dammone. He is the grandson of the late Salvo, the founder of the well-established and popular family-run award-winning Italian restaurant – Salvo’s.
The family have been delivering hospitality in Leeds stretching back almost 50 years, when founder Salvatore Dammone moved to Leeds to serve up southern Italian dishes in the heart of Yorkshire. Salvatore’s will be run by the third generation.
