As teams around the league kick off 2024 training camps, seven former Denver Broncos players remain unsigned free agents.
The most notable player on the list is safety Justin Simmons, a four-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler with an NFL-high 30 interceptions since he came into the league in 2016.
Simmons, 30, was cut by the Broncos earlier this year in a cap-related move. More than four months later, the talented safety remains a free agent. Simmons has said he is waiting for the right opportunity, hoping for a chance to join a Super Bowl contender this fall.
Meanwhile, fellow safety Kareem Jackson also remains available. Jackson, 36, was cut by Denver last December after he returned from his second suspension of the 2023 season. Jackson finished last season with the Houston Texans but has not found a new home ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Two other ex-Broncos of note are defensive lineman Mike Purcell and offensive tackle Cam Fleming. View the list of ex-Denver players still available going into training camp below.
