So, you've gotten a Steam gift card this holiday season and aren't sure what to spend it on. One thing is for sure, there are a ton of options to choose from, however, some games are more worth your time than others.
Thanks to the Steam Winter Sale running from Dec. 19, 2024 to Jan. 2, 2025, many of this year's latest and greatest titles are selling at lower prices than usual. I've taken a look through this sales event and picked out my top seven game recommendations. The best PC games to buy
Steam is one of the absolute best places to find amazing games whether you're playing on a gaming desktop, gaming laptop, ROG Ally, Steam Deck, or Legion Go. As you know, PC games can be rather costly, so it's nice that there's currently a Steam Winter Sale going on now that offers many of the very best games at major discounts.
If you're only going to get one game, I highly recommend it be Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This puzzle-filled single-player action-adventure game has really grabbed my attention with its perfect mixture of cinematic scenes and tomb-raiding gameplay. It's not as combat-focused as I had expected, being more of a stealth game, but that part is also really fun when you lean heavily into using disguises and sneaking up on people. It's a fantastic adventure that I recommend to everyone.
