The country registered 13 more Covid-19 fatalities and 7,139 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Monday morning.
The 13 new fatalities were aged 40 to 91 years.
There were 6,924 new cases in the general population, 20 among prison inmates and 195 imported cases.
Of the local Covid-19 infections, 6,914 were confirmed at hospitals and 10 via mass testing.
Bangkok still had the most new cases at 1,130.
The 195 imported cases included 36 from Russia, 16 each from Mongolia and Germany, 11 from Ukraine and 10 from Cambodia.
On Sunday 82,485 people received Covid-19 treatment at hospitals, including 550 seriously ill patients with lung inflammation and 114 on ventilators.
The 24-hour period also saw 8,100 Covid-19 patients discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 2,384,639 Covid-19 cases, including 161,204 cases this year, with 2,280,109 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 22,045 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 347 so far this year.
