There were 15 more Covid-19 fatalities and 698 new patients admitted to hospitals on Sunday, the Ministry of Public Health reported on Monday.
This compared with 19 coronavirus-related fatalities and 1,093 patients on Saturday, as reported on Sunday.
As of midnight Sunday, a total of 11,483 people were receiving Covid-19 treatment (down from 12,766 the previous day), including 7,129 in hospitals (down from 7,369). Of the remainder, 104 were in field hospitals/hospitel facilities (down from 107) and 4,247 in home/community isolation (down from 5,280).
Of those in hospitals, 678 were seriously ill with lung inflammation (down from 681) and 344 dependent on ventilators (up from 343).
As of Monday the daily averages over a 14-day period were - 1,481 new patients, down from 1,828 as of Aug 30 figures; 678 seriously ill patients, down from 760; 344 dependent on ventilators, down from 384; and 22 coronavirus-related deaths, down from 28.
The 24-hour period also saw 1,966 patients discharged from hospitals after recovering.
The 698 new patients were all local cases.
From Sept 4 to 10, antigen tests showed 15,358 people positive for Covid-19 daily on average.
The 15 people who died on Sunday were aged from 36 to 96 years.
Bangkok logged five more deaths and there was one in the adjacent province of Samut Prakan.
Other Central plains provinces further from the capital reported no more deaths.
The North reported two more coronavirus-related deaths, in Chiang Mai and Phichit.
The Northeast had five - two in Khon Kaen and one each in Nakhon Ratchasima, Nong Khai and Sakon Nakhon.
The South reported two deaths, in Pattani and Songkhla.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 4,668,244 Covid-19 cases, including 2,444,809 this year, with 4,624,207 complete recoveries to date.
The accumulated death toll stood at 32,554 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 10,856 so far this year.
Global Covid-19 cases rose by 288,472 in 24 hours to 613.82 million. The worldwide death toll went up by 627 to 6.52 million.
The United States had the most cases at 97.09 million, up 8,837, and the most deaths at 1.07 million, up nine.
