Aldi has said it is looking to recruit for more than 600 roles at its supermarkets across the South West as it continues its expansion in the region.
The retailer previously announced £1.3bn plans to open 100 UK stores and hire 2,000 staff this year.
The discount chain it looking to hire a total of 614 employees, including in some newly created roles, at its sites in Bristol, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi, said: "Aldi’s increased popularity and customer demand for quality products allows us to keep growing and create more employment opportunities across the region.”
Aldi is the fifth-largest supermarket group in the UK and currently operates more than 900 stores across the country. It has created around 7,000 jobs over the last couple of years.
It comes as new research found Aldi secured its biggest market share in the UK to date amid a cost of living crisis, as grocery price inflation reached 5.2% - its highest level in nearly a decade,
Figures published by data analyst Kantar showed Aldi and Lidl remained the fastest-growing supermarkets during the 12 weeks to March 20, with sales up 3.6% for both compared to the same period a year earlier.
