6 wounded, 1 critically, in Dallas shooting, police say

DALLAS — Six men were wounded in a shooting in Dallas' Pleasant Grove neighborhood Wednesday evening, Dallas police say.

About 5 p.m., officers were called to the 9500 block of Scyene Road, near Cypress Avenue, where the shooting had been reported.

Police said the men — ages 17, 20, 22, 28, 37 and 55 — were taken to the hospital, where as of Thursday morning, one was in critical condition, while the remaining five were stable. Their identities were not released.

According to police, the suspects were described as three Black men in a white vehicle.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Detective Justin Barger at 214-671-4264 or justin.barger@dallaspolice.gov and refer to case No. 231171-2022.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and indictment. Tips may be submitted by calling 214-373-8477.
