Nick Cannon’s daytime talk show has been canceled less than six months after its premiere.

“This is show business, and we know this biggest word in that is business,” the actor-rapper-comedian said on Thursday’s episode, confirming the demise of the low-rated series.

“Nick Cannon” airs in Chicago at 1 p.m. weekdays on WFLD-Channel 32. New taped episodes will continue to air through May.

“It’s never easy to cancel a production with clear potential but, after a great deal of deliberation and examining various options, we have made the difficult business decision to end production on ‘Nick Cannon,’ ” said Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, co-presidents of the show’s distributor, Debmar-Mercury, in a statement.

The show had been scheduled to premiere in 2020, a launch delayed afterCannon made remarkson his “Cannon’s Class” podcast viewed as anti-Semitic.

He remains the host of “The Masked Singer” on Fox and “Wild ’N Out” on VH1.
