6 Dolphins who deserve to make the 2024 Pro Bowl

After 12 weeks of the 2023 regular season, fan voting for the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl has opened, and a number of Miami Dolphins should be in consideration for the honor.

The Pro Bowl Games, which changed formats last season, will feature a flag football game coached by former NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.

Last year, the Dolphins had five players selected, including reserves and alternates.

This year there are plenty of deserving candidates, but not everyone can make it. Here are six that are more than worthy of a Pro Bowl nod so far:

QB Tua Tagovailoa

Tagovailoa has been one of the core reasons that the Dolphins have started 8-3. He currently has a career-high completion percentage (69.8%), and he’s on pace for career marks in yards and touchdowns as well.

RB Raheem Mostert

At 31 years old, Mostert leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns (13), as he nearly has more this year than in his eight previous seasons.

The former Boilermaker is also first in the conference in rushing yards (785) and second in yards per attempt (5.2).

On top of that, Mostert has been a reliable receiver as well, bringing in 20 catches for 158 yards and two scores.

WR Tyreek Hill

Hill promised before the season that he’d break 2,000 yards, and he might just do it.

Through 11 games, he leads the league in receiving yards (1,324) and touchdowns (10). He’s also second in the conference in receptions (88) behind only Keenan Allen (97).

His current pace would put him at 2,046 yards for the season, which would be an NFL record.

DL Christian Wilkins

Wilkins’ tackle numbers may be down from last year, but he’s getting to the quarterback more than ever before. His 6.5 sacks are a career-high already and is the third-most for interior defensive linemen this season behind Justin Madubuike and Chris Jones.

It could be argued that Chubb and Phillips are both deserving, but with the latter missing the remainder of the season, the former gets the nod.

Through 11 games, Chubb has six sacks, which puts him on pace to finish the year with nine. While other outside linebackers may have more sacks, Chubb has been effective at knocking the ball loose, recording four forced fumbles as well.

S Jevon Holland

Holland has been defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s do-it-all weapon this year. He’s covering all over the field, making tackles and leading the group as a 23-year-old.

His 99-yard interception return for a touchdown against the New York Jets on Black Friday was just a glimpse of what he’s capable of.
