American rap star 50 Cent has arrived at Parklife ahead of a headline slot this evening - with Parklife bosses saying he turned up in the ‘biggest convoy’ in the festival’s history.
The singer will perform on the Parklife main stage at 9.50pm, following performances from Headie One, Tiffany Calver, and Loyle Carner.
The rap star and Power co-creator turned up with ‘at least’ ten vehicles containing members of his team and crew just before 7pm.

50 Cent launched on the music scene in 2003 after being discovered by Eminem and signed to his record label. His debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ featuring hits In Da Club and 21 Questions.
The first day of parklife has already seen performances from Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Mahalia, Shy FX and Carl Cox across a number of stages. More than 80,000 people are expected to celebrate the festival at Heaton Park.
So far today, we’ve seen people dressed in neon mermaids and cowgirl hats. Fighting off a bit of rain earlier this afternoon, some festival-goers also sported the rainbow umbrella hats and ponchos.
