American rap star 50 Cent has arrived at Parklife ahead of a headline slot this evening - with Parklife bosses saying he turned up in the ‘biggest convoy’ in the festival’s history.

The singer will perform on the Parklife main stage at 9.50pm, following performances from Headie One, Tiffany Calver, and Loyle Carner.

The rap star and Power co-creator turned up with ‘at least’ ten vehicles containing members of his team and crew just before 7pm.

The first day of parklife has already seen performances from Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Mahalia, Shy FX and Carl Cox across a number of stages. More than 80,000 people are expected to celebrate the festival at Heaton Park.
