Portaventura

Portaventura (Trip Advisor)

The Spanish version of Tayto Park, it’s the most visited theme park in Spain and the sixth most visited theme park in Europe.

The park features five theme areas based on places like the Mediterrània, Far West, México, China and Polynesia. Another theme area based on Sesame Street.

It’s an exciting park with lots of games and rides. Perfect to go with pals or with the fam. From water based rides to the highest roller coasters, there’s something for everyone. But it’s important not to forget your Irish roots and pack the ‘hang’ sandwiches as the food is a bit pricey.

Danny Boy’s

Danny Boy (Danny Boy Facebook)

Just imagine that soft golden sand between your toes, the hot sun upon your back as you make your way to your second home.

Danny Boy’s is a pub where you feel free and alive again, enjoying a well deserved drink whilst singing away to some cracking songs performed by the resident band, Oh, Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling!

House of Illusion Magic and Illusion Show

House of Illusion Magic and Illusion Show (Trip Advisor)

You will be taken on a journey through a mysterious world of comedy, sleight of hand, manipulation, escapology and of course grand Illusion.

You will be greeted at the top of the grand staircase and will be escorted to the beautiful Houdini's Attic terrace or Houdini Lounge where you can enjoy a drink whilst you wait for your entrance into the theatre.

You will be entertained at your table by magicians, and presented with a delicious meal and all inclusive drinks.

You will be full of amazement as the performers leave you lost for words with shadowgraphy, manipulation, theatre of the mind and of course grand, mind-blowing Illusions!

Scuba Diving

Scuba Diving (Maeve Byrne)

Diving does not require any experience and it's not even necessary to know how to swim. Salou is not a diving destination but for a first experience and discovering the marine world and sensation of breathing underwater, it is an amazing option.

You will be accompanied by an experienced dive instructor. The dives are done at the beach, for beginners it is an amazing experience for a first sea dive.

Temple Bar

Temple Bar manager Nikki McCormack (Nikki McCormack)

The Salou staple - that goes by the same name of Dublin’s iconic cobbled pedestrian lanes are crowded with pubs and live folk music.

If you go to London, you see Big Ben, if you go to Dublin, you go to the Guinness Storehouse and if you go to Salou, you go to Temple Bar, it’s famous.

It’s the best craic, you walk in and there’s already an atmosphere. Everyone is up dancing, it’s such a feel good place and everyone makes friends.
