Liverpool return from the international break with a huge clash against title challengers Manchester City at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds fought their way back into the race for the top four before the first round of Euro 2024 qualifiers. And as Jurgen Klopp's side bid to close the gap on Tottenham and Newcastle, they have returned to the training ground.
Klopp has been handed a triple injury boost ahead of the visit of City, with Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas all featuring in Thursday's session. Here, Mirror Football looks at the biggest talking points from Liverpool's training session on Thursday.
Nunez's fancy finish
Darwin Nunez has endured a mixed debut season in the Premier League since his summer move to Liverpool. The striker became the Reds' record signing when he arrived from Benfica, though has struggled to live up to that price tag.
He was carrying a small injury concern but was in action on Thursday and showed why Liverpool paid so much for him. The Uruguayan produced a clever flicked finish to put the ball past Caoimhin Kelleher in a shooting drill.

Diaz shows off
Luis Diaz has been in the treatment room for a substantial part of the season, having been one of their brightest players since joining the club in Janaury 2022. The winger appears to be stepping up his return to full fitness though as he participated in Thursday's session.
The Colombian appears to be keen to make up for the time he has lost while on the sidelines. In one moment, as he was being closed down, Diaz produced a no-look pass in an impressive piece of skill.
Milner's still got it
Speaking of skill, James Milner showed that he still has a full range of tricks in his book. There are increasing doubts about the veteran midfielder's future at Liverpool, with talks over a new contract yet to start.
It does not look like that uncertainty is affecting him though, with the Englishman showing off his skills in a moment away from serious training. Milner was playing keepy-uppy, showing off a range of ball control to keep it in the air.
Klopp's private chat with Gakpo
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is renowned for his man-management skills. And they were in full use on Thursday during his side's last training session before the visit of title challengers City.
He pulled Cody Gakpo over for a private chat, amid the forward's brilliant start to his time at Anfield. Having earlier had a general talk with the whole group, he spoke specifically to Gakpo as the Netherlands international stretched off.
Robertson riding high
Andy Robertson is unsurprisingly still riding the high of Scotland's famous win over Spain. The left-back captained the Tartan Army on Monday as they claimed a key victory over La Roja to maintain their perfect start to Euro 2024 qualifying.
And he maintained his positive attitude into Thursday's training session as he worked to keep sprits high. Robertson could be seen sharing jokes with Darwin Nunez, Jordan Henderson, Ben Doak and Mohamed Salah in separate moments of training.
