Anamika Khanna is a true master of her craft. And her latest fashion film, showcased at India Couture Week, proved that the designer knows how to bring the best out of the Indian craft and present it beautifully in a collection, that is not only visually arresting but also has an indelible impression on the viewer. For Anamika, this collection was all about rejoicing in beauty. It was an acceptance of what is and a celebration of what we are given. The magnificent set was created with red meadows on trampolines and models were seen jumping ecstatically clad in Khanna's lehengas and saris. Here are 5 reasons why we think that Anamika Khanna's couture collection is the best of this season.

The fashion film began with models dressed in white lehengas and saris jumping on the trampolines that were covered in red flowers. The way the visuals have been captured, make the whole process so visually satisfying. The camera angles and movements are swift and manage to create a dreamy view.
Pearl veil and hair nets
Anamika Khanna is a trendsetter. It was only recently that we saw Rhea Kapoor sporting a pearl veil for her wedding in the designer's ensemble. And for her show, Anamika used these pearl veils and hair nets in styling the models. The pearl-studded hair nets complemented the lehengas and saris.
Celebration of Indian crafts
Intricate embroidery work on lehengas, kurtas and saris featured myriad Indian crafts. She paid homage to some of the most intricate crafts of India through this collection.
Menswear
In menswear, there were strikingly beautiful kurtas and stoles with kala dori work. Male models were niftly styled with chokers and neckpieces to render a modern vibe to the traditional look.
Flawless hair and makeup
Lehengas and saris were styled with braids and accessorised with pearl hair net. We adore the green hair colour on the male model wearing a draped kurta with sherwani.
