5 highest-graded Raiders through six games of 2023 NFL season

After a really slow start to the season, the Las Vegas Raiders have climbed back into contention in the AFC. Sitting at 3-3, they have a real chance to make a run over the next few months, especially given their schedule.

One of the reasons why they have a chance in the AFC is due to their top-end talent. They have elite players at several key positions, including WR, LT, and EDGE. But who have been their best players this year?

Here are the five highest-graded players for the Raiders through the first six games, courtesy of Pro Football Focus:

EDGE Maxx Crosby – 91.5
WR Davante Adams – 81.9
LT Kolton Miller – 81.3
FS Trevon Moehrig – 77.6
RT Thayer Munford – 76.7

It’s not a surprise to see Crosby, Adams, and Miller on this list. All three are among the best players at their positions and have been fantastic this year. Crosby and Adams are on pace to be All-Pro selections and Miller should be a Pro Bowl candidate, as well.

The first surprising name here is Moehrig, who has really developed into a good starter this year. Moehrig was a second-round pick by the Raiders during the 2021 NFL Draft, but it’s taken some time for him to get up to speed. Now, he’s arguably their best player in the secondary.

The fifth name included here is Munford, who has been a part-time player for the Raiders. But every time he gets on the field, he produces at a pretty high level. This isn’t to say that the Raiders should bench him in favor of Jermaine Eluemunor, but Munford is one of the top swing tackles in all of the NFL.
