The Raiders were unable to come away with a win in Arrowhead as they fell to the Chiefs 30-29. But it was an awesome game and several players had outstanding performances.
The most notable performance from the Raiders came from Josh Jacobs, who totaled 193 yards on 26 touches. He was unstoppable as he has now put together back-to-back games of at least 140 rushing yards.
But how did he grade out from Pro Football Focus? Here are their five highest-graded players from Week 5, according to PFF:
RB Kolton Miller – 85.1
RB Josh Jacobs – 84.7
DT Andrew Billings – 77.8
DE Maxx Crosby – 76.6
DT Bilal Nichols – 75.9
Miller did not allow a sack or a quarterback hit on 37 pass-blocking snaps in Week 5. He was also incredible in the run game, opening up holes for Jacobs. Both players graded out near the top of their respective positions in Week 5 as they were truly dominant.
It’s also encouraging to see two defensive tackles on this list as Billings and Nichols held up well against the run. Most of the big runs by the Chiefs came outside of the offensive tackles and they had little to no success running up the middle. If Billings and Nichols can continue to play well, the Raiders should improve on defense in a hurry.
