The 49ers on Sunday morning announced defensive end Kemoko Turay would miss their Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos to attend to a personal matter.
That leaves four players officially out for San Francisco. Offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (hamstring), running back Tyrion Davis-Price (ankle) and tight end Tyler Kroft (knee) were all ruled out on the injury report Friday.
Turay originally landed on the 49ers’ practice squad after the team let him go at final cuts. A knee injury for DE Jordan Willis landed him on IR though and opened a roster spot for Turay to occupy. He hasn’t suited up yet for San Francisco in the last two weeks.
In the previous four seasons, Turay played in 38 games for the Colts where he posted 12.0 sacks, including a career-high 5.0 last season.
