400lb fighter's shorts fall down in farcical scenes during heaviest-ever bout

Boogie2988 suffered a wardrobe malfunction as his shorts fell down before he was stopped by Wings of Redemption in their 800lb crossover fight.

Wings, real name Jordie Jordan, and Boogie, real name Steven Williams, fought on the undercard of KSI's fight against Joe Fournier at Wembley Arena on Saturday night. The pair rose to fame during the early years of YouTube with Wings uploading videos of himself playing the first-person shooter game Call of Duty, whilst Boogie gained popularity for portraying the fictional character "Francis".

Following entertaining ring walks from the super-heavyweight duo, Wings landed the first big blow at the start of the fight with a good one-two that started Boogie. The latter, who is 10 years older than Wings, looked like a fish out of water as he didn’t throw a punch with Wings backing him up against the ropes.

The referee gave Boogie a standing eight-count and after beating the count, his corner had to tape his shorts up which were falling down. The farcical scenes saw disgraced crossover boxer Chase DeMoor desperately wrap tape around Boogie’s waistline before the fight continued. Wings then landed a good uppercut and right hand before the first round came to an end.

Boogie was warned for turning his back to Wings at the start of the second round, with Wings landing another good combination. The referee rightfully waved the fight off as Boogie continued to eat punches with no reply and Wings was awarded the stoppage win. Boogie protested the stoppage and despite the rivals sharing a heated rivalry in the build-up to the fight, they shook hands as the decision was announced.

Mirror Fighting spoke with Boogie before the fight as the YouTube legend detailed the hurdles he overcame to make his first ring walk, stating: "I would have told you five years ago there was no way I would have been able to leave America. This fight would have killed me, once I got to London what could I have done? Use a wheelchair to get around from restaurant to restaurant?

"I think it's a miracle that I'm here, six years ago I got gastric bypass surgery and lost 200lb. I've also focused on my brain, I saw a psychedelic therapist earlier in the year and I realised how wrong I was about life. I was also so afraid and scared of everything. I realised the point of life is a game to be played to have fun."
