Four-star Kahnen Daniels will not be flipping from the Gators to the Spartans.
Michigan State football made a push for Daniels, but he announced on Tuesday that he is sticking with his original commitment to Florida. The Spartans hosted Daniels on an official visit earlier this month, and there was some smoke he was considering flipping to the Spartans.
Daniels ranks as the No. 29 running back and No. 337 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite for the 2024 class.
Daniels electing to stick with the Gators could mean Michigan State was simply unsuccessful in flipping him. It also could mean the Spartans are close to landing another big-time running back, such as four-star Anthony Carrie. He is another big-time target for Michigan State and is reportedly down to just the Spartans and Tar Heels with a commitment coming soon.
We will know soon enough about Carrie, but we at least can scratch off Daniels as a potential addition to the Spartans’ 2024 class.
