As many as 4.32 lakh students will appear for the Plus Two higher secondary examinations beginning March 30. The SSLC examinations that begin the next day will see 4.26 lakh students sit for the examinations in the regular category and 408 in the private category. Of the candidates appearing for the Plus Two examinations, 2,12,891 are girls and 2,19,545 are boys. As many as 3.65 lakh students will take the examinations in the school-going category, 45,797 in the open school (SCOLE Kerala), and 20,768 in the private category.
The maximum number of students appearing for the examinations is in Malappuram – 77,817. The least is in Wayanad – 11,064. As many as 474 students will appear for the examination in the Gulf region, 1,173 in Lakshadweep, and 689 in Mahe.
Of the total number of students appearing for the SSLC examinations, 2.08 lakh are girls and 2.18 lakh boys. The examination will be held in 2,962 centres. As many as 574 students will appear for the examination in nine schools in the Gulf, and 882 in nine schools in Lakshadweep. The maximum number of students appearing for the examination is from Malappuram – 78,266. The least is from Pathanamthitta – 10,529. PKMMHS, Edarikode, will send the most number of candidates – 2,104. HM HSS, Randarkara, will send the least – only one.
