Shopping for holiday gifts? The H&G team have you covered. Our editors have rounded up everything they are shopping for the people in their lives (or things they would love to be gifted themselves) to provide you with all the gifting inspiration you need.
We cover gifts for home lovers, budding chefs, gardening enthusiasts – there's glassware, cookware, candles, kettles, and even toothpaste (stylish toothpaste). No matter what your budget or who you are buying for we are sure you will find some holiday shopping inspiration right here. And we've split into our favorite stores too, so you can tick plenty of people off in just one order.
Anthropologie
Hebe Hatton is our Head of Interiors at H&G, and year after year she swears by Anthropologie to tick a load of people off her gifting list. You can find something to suit all styles and budgets, but here are her top picks for some shopping inspiration.
Glassware makes for such a great gift and with martinis being the drink du jour, a martini glass seems right to gift for 2024. Stemless glasses are also very on-trend, as is the retro feel going on here. Basically, this glass ticks all the trend boxes.
Icon glasses have a bit of a cult following and there's a motif to suit everyone. I have a bit of an affinity with fruity homewares but there are hearts, rainbows, ladybugs, chili peppers, and more to choose from to suit your person.
As chic as toothpaste comes. Yes, this is toothpaste and yes, I am suggesting it as a gift. The stylish person in your life will know about this toothpaste. They will want this toothpaste. It's got a whole story behind it and the fragrances (flavors?) were actually developed in Italian Fragrance Houses.
Tomato is such a lovely fresh flavor. It's perfect to light in those first days of the year when the holiday decorations are down and you want your home to feel fresh and clean again for the New Year. That's why this makes a great gift, it's something to get out and enjoy once all the festivities are over.
The Bistro Tile collection at Anthropologie is iconic. And Anthro has collaborated with Haden to give their famous British Kettle shape a French makeover. I am getting this for my mother-in-law this year to match the Bistro Tile mugs I bought her last year.
These plates look too good to eat off! I would personally hang these on the walls after I had finished hosting for the holidays. I love the texture of these plates. They are stoneware so have that very rustic look and the bows aren't just painted on but embossed so slightly raised for even more texture.
Afloral
Rachel Bull is our Head of Gardening, but as well as being passionate about all things gardens, she's also a floral designer and creates beautiful installations for shoots, workshops, installations, and weddings. Her go-to store for beautiful floral-related gifts is Afloral. Here's what she's shopping for the holidays.
As a floral designer you can never, ever have too many vases. And this ceramic cream vessel is exactly what I have been looking for to add some grown-up style to my new kitchen island.
I am a huge fan of floral arrangements in footed bowls, so when I saw this rustic bowl vase I knew it needed to be on my shopping list. A statement, forever piece.
I have collected many flower frogs from my time as a florist, but nothing as interesting as this one It could even work as a design feature in its own right with dried flower stems.
I always opt for antique brass and gold when it comes to hardware in my kitchen, and so these stunning candle holders will make the perfect addition to my dining table for Christmas.
And to add to the holders I’ve chosen these black taper candles - ones to bring out in the evening after the children have gone to bed!
Globe amaranth are one of my favorite dried flowers to display at home because they look so incredibly pretty tied in a bunch en masse. This subtle blush shade would blend with so many different room palettes, too.
Quiet Town
Molly Malsom is our Kitchens and Bathrooms editor and has discovered one of her favorite stores to shop for chic bathroom accessories and stylish gifts is Quiet Town. The pieces are all sustainable, thoughtful, and functional – here's what Molly's shopping this year...
A thoughtful gift for the traveler in your life – this set of three upcycled canvas pouches is perfect for keeping essentials in one place.
A good quality tote bag is essential for anyone – and something someone might not buy for themselves. I love the two-tone design of this one.
The gift of scent is always a lovely choice. These incense sticks come in a 'calm' scent with notes of lavender and sage.
For anyone in your life who loves color and bold designs, this bathrobe will go down an absolute treat!
Renter-friendly and stylish, this bath organizer, which comes in three colors, makes morning rituals more practical and aesthetic.
A bath rug might feel like a strange gift, but this wavy design in 2025's biggest color trend is a stylish, retro addition to a bathroom – it's the perfect present for interior lovers.
Hexclad
Being a trained chef herself, our Kitchen Appliance Editor, Lydia Hayman loves to gift people presents that are going to make them better in the kitchen. She swears by Hexclad for its amazing quality cookware. If you have an avid cook on your holiday gift list, it's the place to head to treat them to something that's going to last decades.
As a cook who values both style and sustainability, I love this HexClad eco apron. It’s made from plastic bottles that have been melted and spun into a sustainable yarn. It’s water, oil, and even stain-resistant and has handy pockets for your utensils.
When I was working as a recipe editor, we used this 12 inch HexClad pan to test and shoot recipes, particularly steak and seafood. Trust me, the non-stick hybrid technology is just as good as people say it is. It’s a super generous gift.
A chef is only as good as their knives, and HexClad make some of the best out there. This Damascus steel chef’s knife is ultra-sharp, ergonomic and well-balanced.
If you know someone who loves Asian cuisine, this little wok is a great gift for sizzling and stir-frying without any sticking.
This is my dream gift. Each stainless steel bowl has a vacuum seal lid, so you can mix and prep, then store your food in the fridge. Your salad could stay fresh and crunchy for a whole week.
If you know a pizza lover, this is a game-changing gift. HexClad have put their hybrid technology into a thin pizza pan that delivers a crispy, homemade crust in no time. Cleanup is a breeze, too, as the non-stick surface lets the pizza slide right off.
Crate & Barrel
Charlotte Olby is our Style and Trends Editor, and she's mid-renovation right now so her gift shopping list is also a bit of a wishlist of home decor pieces she'd love to receive to update her own home. Charlotte's recommendation to shop all things for a home-lover is Crate & Barrel.
I’m obsessed with little ball and bun feet on furniture at the moment. This chic accent stool will make a charming, cozy addition to my living room.
Capri has been on my travel wish list for some time now. While I save up, this coffee table book is going to keep that dream alive.
I’m secretly hoping that someone makes me a burr basket for Christmas this year and includes this box of goodies to make smores for a cute night-in activity.
This mini table lamp has the coolest base I’ve ever seen. Made from twist iron the base is complemented by a cute rattan shade – I’ll be popping this on my kitchen counter.
