A 34 year-old motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a serious one-vehicle crash in Paisley.
The incident happened this morning (June 4), at around 9.25am with police and emergency services rushing to the scene on the M8, near junction 28A.
The 34 year-old female was riding a white Yamaha and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where she is being treated for serious injuries.

Road policing officers closed the road and it was reopened at around 10.25am.
Officers are appealing for information following the incident.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans of Glasgow Road Policing said: “I am appealing for anyone with information regarding this incident to contact us.
“I would ask any motorists particularly with dash cams who were in and around that area to check the footage as it may have captured images that could assist in our investigation.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone who stopped to assist the woman but who has not yet spoken to police."
