31 people killed following mass shooting at children’s day-care centre in Thailand as manhunt for gunman underway

At least 31 people have been killed following a mass shooting at a children’s day-care centre in Thailand.

Police rushed to the scene in a northeastern province of Thailand on Thursday.

Both children and adults were killed in the attack.

A manhunt is now underway for the gunman, who authorities confirmed was an ex-police officer.

A government spokesperson said that the prime minister has alerted all agencies to take action and apprehend the culprit.
