
During a recent press conference, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna provided an update on the missing person reports related to the wildfires in the area. As of now, there are a total of 31 active missing person reports linked to the fires.
Following the wildfires, 43 missing person reports were filed. Out of these, 12 individuals have been located and confirmed to be safe, which is a positive development amidst the crisis.



Of the 31 individuals who are still missing, the majority, specifically 24 people, were reported missing in the Eaton Fire area. Additionally, 7 individuals have been reported missing in the Palisades Fire area, highlighting the widespread impact of the wildfires on the local community.
These numbers underscore the urgency and importance of ongoing search and rescue efforts in the affected areas. Authorities are working tirelessly to locate and ensure the safety of those who are still unaccounted for, providing support and resources to affected families during this challenging time.
