The signing of Dalvin Tomlinson was huge, but the Cleveland Browns must add more talent at the position. Florida defensive tackle Gervon Dexter has his flaws, but his upside potential with his level of athleticism is attractive for NFL teams. He scored a 9.18 on the relative athletic score used to test athleticism. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler even mocked Dexter to the Browns in his seven-round mock draft.
At times, his tape is downright dominant as a pass rusher with his great size/speed combination when he puts it together he’s nearly unblockable. However, he can disappear on film and struggles sometimes to get off the line quickly enough.
If a team can find a way to get him to put it all together consistently they will have a quality starter that can be disruptive in the passing game.
