The Miami Dolphins made it evident that they wanted a veteran backup quarterback this offseason, and they went out and found the best one they could when they signed Teddy Bridgewater.
Bridgewater joins the Dolphins on a one-year deal that could pay him up to $10 million with an opportunity to back up third-year Tua Tagovailoa, who has missed time early on in his young career. After his last stop with the Denver Broncos, Bridgewater may not be a starter in the league, but he’s shown he can compete and win games.
