3-star in-state RB Izaiah Wright reportedly visited MSU this past weekend

One of the top in-state prospects in the 2026 class visited Michigan State this past weekend.

Allen Trieu of 247Sports reported on Monday that three-star running back Izaiah Wright visited Michigan State this past weekend for the team’s season opener. Wright spoke with Trieu about his visit and relationship with the Spartans’ coaching staff in the post included below.

Wright is ranked as the No. 37 running back in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also ranked as the No. 12 player in the state.

Michigan State is one of more than 10 teams to already extend an offer to Wright. He also holds notable offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Minnesota, Pitt and Wisconsin.
