3 Most popular 2025 NFL mock draft selections for Colts

Mock draft season is upon us, so who are the favorite selections for the Indianapolis Colts at this early stage in the pre-draft process?

With help from the ‘NFL Mock Draft Database,’ where all mock drafts are compiled and this data was collected, there are three 2025 NFL draft prospects in particular who routinely end up going to the Colts at pick No. 14 overall.

Let’s take a closer look at each of those prospects, starting with the most popular selection and working our way down:

Malaki Starks, S, Georgia: Starks could fill a do-it-all role on the back-end of the Colts defense, whether that’s playing as the deep safety or closer to the line of scrimmage. That versatility in itself is quite valuable, but in addition to that, Starks has shown to be a reliable run defender and has good ball production as well.

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State: Warren is a favorite selection among Colts’ fans as well. GM Chris Ballard said the team needed a greater pass-catching presence at the tight end position, and Warren would certainly provide that with 1,158 receiving yards in 2024. He also brings a well-rounded skill-set to the NFL, able to hold his own as a blocker, which would help add some unpredictability to the Colts’ offense.

CB Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame: Morrison’s 2024 season was cut short due to a hip injury, but he put together an impressive college career. Over those three seasons, Morrison allowed a completion rate of just 46%, 11.9 yards per catch with nine interceptions and 12 pass breakups.

Of course, the caveat to all of this is that a lot can and will change in the coming months as the pre-draft process unfolds. But during that time, these are three names to watch closely, and when it comes to positions of need that the Colts have, these are arguably the biggest three that are out there.
