After rushing for 58 yards in his first NFL start in Week 7, Demercado was patient and efficient in the first half.
He finished the half with 60 yards on 14 carries.
Defense is getting hands on footballs
The Cardinals were credited with five passes defensed in the first half. They had four combined in their previous four games.
Through their first three games, they had 23.
They contained Lamar Jackson
Jackson did not hurt the Cardinals with his legs. He was sacked once and had two rushing yards on two attempts.
He did have 118 passing yards and a touchdown on 12-of-18 passing.
