29 best dressed people spotted at Sound City 2023 in Liverpool

Liverpool Sound City returned this weekend with yet another exciting line-up.

Throughout the day the sun was shining, with lots of music lovers enjoying the live music and having a dance across multiple venues in the city centre. Tonight, Lydia Rowlands and King Liar will take the Wider Arts Stage, with The Reytons and Dylan John Thomas performing at Mountford Hall.

Sound City has always been a great place to discover new music, and there have been a ton of performances by artists who have gone on to achieve great success, including Ed Sheeran, Florence and The Machine, Stormzy, Paloma Faith, The 1975 and Years & Years.

The glorious sunshine set a stunning backdrop for the festival, which kicked off with some fantastic performances from The Reytons, Dylan John Thomas and more. Our ECHO photographer Andy Teebay headed down to the city centre to snap music fans enjoying the good vibes.

There was plenty of festival style on show, with people seen in jeans for comfort, and others dopamine dressing with pops of colour.
