Liverpool is well known for its sense of style, with a number of fashionable locals spotted at Glastonbury Festival 2022.
The famed festival, which kicked off in 1970 and has gone on to become one of the most iconic music events in the world, is well known for being a creative place that encourages enjoyment and self-expression. Flower garlands, vibrant prints and fancy dress are all par for the course, with some people treating it like a catwalk while others take the opportunity to have fun with their wardrobe.
Glastonbury 2022 is well underway, making its much-anticipated return this year after a three year delay due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. On the penultimate day, Liverpool - and global - icon Paul McCartney is headlining, with thousands expected to turn out for the hitmaker's set.

Billie Eilish made history on Friday as the youngest headliner in the festival's run. With a capacity of more than 200,000, the Pilton countryside has been taken over by music fans keen to catch a glimpse of multiple titans from the music industry.
Though Glastonbury is known and loved for its extensive line-up of incredible music, there's also plenty of other things to see and do. There's silent discos, parties, fortune telling, traditional Punch and Judy shows, bingo, stunt performers, vintage arcade games, comedy, rides and more, with various areas set up to offer a constant stream of entertainment across its five day run.
The Liverpool Echo's Ellen Kirwin is at Worthy Farm celebrating the festival's 50th year in style and has spotted plenty of Scousers who've travelled to the Somerset site to make the most of festivities. People are dressed to the nines in quirky outfits, elaborate headpieces, casual looks and stylish attire, delighted to be enjoying festival season once again.
