England and Wales have a lot in common, they are neighbours after all.
But if you're an English person who's recently moved to Wales you realise very quickly just how different the two countries are.
The Welsh culture, language and food... English people really do have a lot to learn about our Welsh brothers and sisters.
1. There are a LOT of castles

You literally have to drive around them in some towns.
2. And you'll be amazed how close you are to the countryside, beach and city

3. A full English is called a full Welsh and they actually are a bit different

Cockles and laverbread are a delicious addition.
4. Welsh rarebit is quite nice and is definitely not just cheese on toast
5. And chips, cheese and gravy is also a thing

And it's kinda delicious
6. But mostly you'll wonder how you ever lived without Welshcakes in your life
7. Pints in Cardiff are sooo much cheaper than London
8. People say 'cheers, drive' when they get off the bus
At first you’ll think everybody is friends with the driver
9. 'Where you to?' and 'now in a minute' are two of the most confusing phrases you will ever hear
10. You'll also be baffled the first time someone calls you "butt"
11. 'Yur' can mean ear, here or year
12. You find yourself starting to say things like 'I’m starving, I am' and 'lush'

13. For a while you might have to write down your address and show the taxi driver and your friends

14. Your family think you've basically moved to the set of Gavin and Stacey and will want to visit Barry Island when they come to visit

15. The Severn Bridge toll was a real pain

But now it's been scrapped so you can come and go as you please!
16. Gavin and Stacey lied about the Welsh hating football

17. The Welsh don’t hate the English either

Unless it's a match day, when they actually do
18. But you’ll probably end up supporting Wales in the rugby anyway

19. The Welsh are seriously proud of their flag - it's everywhere
20. The weather was bad in England but the Welsh rain makes it seem like the Med

21. Your attempts to say Welsh words and place names will be ridiculed

22. And you can forget everything you thought you knew about syllables
23. The Welsh are not as obsessed with sheep as everyone makes out
24. Wales is home to some iconic performers, but not everybody can sing
