A woman has been charged over the alleged murder of a 25-year-old man near a NSW train station this week.
Jack Westren was allegedly stabbed to death while waiting to be collected by his brother from a carpark outside Shellharbour Train Station at around 2 PM on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a walkway under Shellharbour Road, Dunmore where paramedics treated him for a stab wound to his abdomen. However, he died at the scene.
Initial investigations revealed allegations he had been stabbed while being attacked by a number of people who left the scene in an Isuzu MU-X.
His family said they are at a loss as to why he was targeted. (Source: 9News)
The vehicle was later recovered in Albion Park Rail and seized for forensic examination.
Per 9News, police are also investigating whether Westren was lured to the train station through TikTok.

On Wednesday morning, Albian Park Rail resident Tamara Lee Doust was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where the 35-year-old was charged with murder, as reported by the ABC.
That afternoon, police also arrested a 15-year-old teenage boy in relation to the incident at a home in Horsley. He was charged with murder and possession of a unauthorised pistol in relation to the seizure of a gel blaster firearm.
Westren has been remembered as “a kind kid with the biggest heart” and his family said they are at a loss as to why he was targeted.
Speaking to 7News, they explained he suffered a life-changing brain injury when he was eight years old.
His mother had recently tried to secure additional NDIS support, however her pleas were ignored, according to the publication.

“If he had that support in place, he would have at least had a carer with him,” his stepfather Chris O’Brien told 7News.
“Hopefully we can get an answer and some closure.”
