The Latin Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram launched a 24-hour-long hunger strike as part of intensifying its agitation against the Vizhinjam international seaport project on Monday.
Eight persons including five priests led the protest outside the port gates at Mulloor on the day. Agitation council convener Theodosius D’cruz inaugurated the day’s fast.
